Can anyone help me!
Hello!
Not sure if this is the best place to ask or not (Admin feel free to move or delete if you wish)
Basically I am looking for producers to help me out - I am looking to create a "Bass CD" of unique tracks.
I work for a car audio company and we specialise in bass enhancement. A very bass orientated cd obviously fits in well with us.
These CD's are not for sale - we dont look to make any money out of them they are just given away at events which we attend. We will only produce a few hundered of them.
I know this is a trance forum and its not necessarily trance music that I am looking for, but guessed that there are so many talented producers in here that someone could help out!
yup. I concur. You may also want to check out D&B (drum and bass) forums. Can't remember the name but there were bunch of compilations in the 90's for that specific need.
Funny story: about 10 years ago, a friend of mine got a killer sound system in his firebird. Installer explicitly told him not to crank it full volume. As my buddy was showing it off he cranked it full volume... and blew out his rear windshield on the first "booom"! We laughed so hard it still hurts today.

Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

He had a set of twin 15" rockfords with 1000W amp + separate capacitors for the amp + sub. I shit you not. No one had a cell phone camera way back then. But think about it - Firebird is a hatchback with the sub being directly beneath rear windshield such a massive amount of energy could easily shatter a windshield. He was like "listen to this!" and sticks in some boombastic CD. first couple of bars are just intro crap - hi hats/claps etc. Then comes in the "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" and you just hear the explosion of the windshield. That crap all rained all over his speakers, trunk, back seats. We were in tears as he's sitting there with this dumb look on his face. I wish I had a camera at the moment. Anyway, good times.

BTW, interesting read:
about speakers + windshields:

Cheers for the replies!
And only two 15" subwoofers... this is what we use!
40 15" subwoofers - each with peak power handling of around 3600 watts, 20 amplifiers each supplying more than 1500w each and a further 60 full range speakers!
If we had a windscreen in this thing it would certainly pop out!
