a nasty cinema experience
Hidelyho neighborinos
has anybody had anything like this?
was watching SPIDERMAN 3 a few weeks back
25 mins before the film ended, at the climax of the film, some staff opened the back doors and for the remainder of the time all I and the packed cinema could hear was them nattering on their radios.
it totally spoilt the film and i was so annoyed.
has anyone had similar experiences, and is their anything i can do about it? can i claim something against them or ?

Something like that is usually against corporate rules. You should have been able to ask for your money back. Also, it's against the rules to turn the lights on in a film unless it's an emergency. This includes during the credits. So if someone turns the lights on 2 minutes into the credits to start cleaning, technically you can ask for your money back. I used to work in a theater and we had a prick do that once.

Only near nasty experience I've had at the cinema was when I was stalked by a suspicious looking creepy old Asian guy.

When I went to see Casino Royale, in the large Loew's theater in Boston (like 14 screens, two stories) the fire alarm went off and everyone in the complex had to evacuate. The stupid projectionist didn't stop the reel from going, so when we got back to our seats we missed 1/2 hour of the film, and they wouldn't give us refunds.

the only good thing about going to the movies is that you can go to the management afterwards and complain about anything and you'll usually get your money back.

So true. I don't know who would want to open a movie theater. There's really not any money in that business.
