Sound on Sound give good reviews for a lot of crap things... 
Really, 1cm of absorbing foam surrounded by a metal cage is a bit of a joke, it's not going to absorb anything. Infact, the metal cage colours the tits out of the recording. Furthermore, the Reflexion Filter is way too small for what it aims to do AND although it attaches straight onto your mic stand, you have to sandbag the base of the stand or it will just fall over from the weight of it.
The real traps one is by far the best. You can't even compare the two! I haven't used one personally, but it is made in a similar way as their other products, so I know this is the ideal way to attack the problem. However, a home made solution using rockwool and open frames would do the exact same thing... seeing as thats fundamentally all the real traps are.
