OK guys, but again, let's see if we're on the same page.
it's NOT the mixer (Allen & Heath XONE:92) or the sound sources (Pioneer CDJ-1000Mk3's) or even the tracks (i've played some of my own stuff, 100% digitally made, ie. no sound whatsoever other than the track) and still i get the hum. if we feed the mixer directly to a monitor, no hum, of course.
so, obviously, the problem is a crappy soundcard.
i ask about software, because i know quite a few apps are supposed to have noise reduction tools, in which you should be able to separate the hum from the track.

i would c if u can get a hold of another comp and try it on that before u say its ur comp cause i had a similar problem once but it wasnt my comp it was just a ground loop and thus was fixed with one of those isolator thingamajigs
