national geographic finally found the beautiful afghan refugee girl with the BEAUTIFUL eyes from the june 1985 cover...
after 17 freaking years...her eyes have changed not quite as beautiful...but stilll

yeah, she actually looks quite different. her eyes look dull and bleary, like she's gone through an excess of emotional torment. they don't have the same bursting energy from when she was younger. total 180, if she had grown up in a first world country she could have made it as an actor or model and maybe her face wouldn't have mutated into the mess it is now.
