ATB - Desperate Religion (rich gale rmx) -

hey chaps and chapettes.

i have just send off my entry for the atb rmx competition that was running. i found out about it about two days ago and the deadline is today so i quickly tried to get as good mix/ arrangement as i could. a little bit of clipping here and there and i wish i had more time to do the mix etc, but i will improve the mix when i have the time.

This is a superb remix.

Production Quality = Superb. You're right it does clip a little, but not enough for the average listener to really notice. Vocals fit very nicely with the rest of the track.

The quality of your work has really sky rocketed in the last year.

agree with eternal :-)

I only think that the kick sounds a bit muffled in places...otherwise it's cool ... good job...

only thing that bothers me is the vocals...they're terrible from start but that's not your fault

hey guys.

thanks for those real nice comments

the kick is muffled. couldnt get it sitting in the mix right and needed to address that but ran out of time for the deadline. ill sort that. i wanted to go for a radio edit arrangement due to the fact that the max file size is 5mb!

i have to say the samples in the rmx pack really were amazing! and fun to work with

I really enjoyed it. I haven't heard the original, but I really liked this track. The synth strings, the indie-rock bass, and the mixing was solid and memorable.
