CVS was wicked...pure jammin tunes non stop "wonky house and techno" and hes so jolly when he spins with his little grin. Anthony Atalla started well...then kinda lost me playing proggy tunes. But without being a music snob i can definitivly say i had a great time and sweat out buckets.

Claud Vonstroke delivered last night , his set was awsome,i enjoyed every minute of it... it was definately one of the best sets i ever hear @ Footwork ... as i remember he dropped pretty much all his recent good production and some fuckin sick remix of "Deep Throat" not sure but i think it was "Saz Adams" remix ...the crowed was really good too , but it was damn hot in there ... all n all it was a great night

So hot in there. Honestly the biggest f'ing sausage fest EVER...i swear at the ratio felt like 30:1 guys/girls. I wasn't feeling his set at all. Left around 2:30!
In my opinion he sucked so large I missed one of my faves Attalla Also, some of the choice in musical lyrics...I may not be a prude but come on..they even caused me to blush.

I dunno, like it wasn't super crazy like "holy crap! wow!", but it got me dancing and I had fun, which is good enough for me lol.

I thought CVS was great. It was freshing to hear a different sort of house with some breaks etc. thrown in. Atalla started off good with a healthy dose of tribal but after an hour he slowed it down with too much with heavy prog. He wrapped things up close to 5. I wish the club stayed open longer. The place really was a sauna, they seriously need to beef up the AC in there.

claude von stroke was awesome, the music he played was so fucking dark it scared me... and i loved that!! he plays such different kind of house than anybody else, he practically makes music on the spot with the way he mixes and it sounds very creative.. Anthony Atalla bored me from the beginning (first 2 tracks) and I spent the rest of the night outside in the patio... meh
I think the real problem is with the venue, I don't think Footwork has a very welcoming or comforting mood to it, the place is small as it is and the construction of it is so retarded, it goes sideways and there are the 2 big structures in the middle of it that just break the club apart (excuse me for sounding so dumb, but I really have no idea what these "structures" are called.... if anyone knows please tell me I'd love to know)

they are called Columns
and yes i agree the placement of them is really annoying but there is nothing that could be done, cannot touch them..
glad you liked his set, not glad for missing this party though..

I'm pretty shocked at all the positive reviews. Why couldn't he play decently at demf ffs?!
