Um..thrillers are supposed to be scary so I don't think you 'd call it "thriller/scary"
And wow.. 28 days later came out 5 years ago...

I liked this very much. Zombie movies kick ass. And these zombies ran around like Olympic athletes, you don't fuck around with that. They weren't zombies though, right? Just a virus that made them crazy, yes?
And wtf? Robert Carlyle? No thanks. I'll see it, but he better not ruin the fucking movie.

I guess the director of 28 days later is most known to the large public for Trainspotting, but he is not anymore the director of this sequel and this is usually not a really good sign.

Same here.
Great flick.
I felt really bad for the dad, though.

Love the first one, although Alex Garland didn't write this sequel and Danny Boyle isn't directing it. Therefore, since the original ties have been cut, the advertisers are trying desperately to make it seem like it's the same people responsible by saying "from the producer's of 28 days later", even though this movie could end up very different indeed.
The trailer makes it look good, but i think the reason the original was so brilliant was solely because of Garland's script, without which, it would've been just another zombie movie. And that's what worries me about this one.
I'll still go watch like...
