i don't own it and don't use a laptop for DJing but usually for stuff like this, it requires a soundcard with two independent outputs. Most people buy an external soundcard and once it's hooked up to the comp, they use the settings within the program to put the cue on one output (where your headphones would go) and the master output to the other output on the soundcard. remember a soundcard can have a crap load of outputs but if they aren't independent, it won't work.
um....hopefully this helps for virtual dj.

Thanks Taylor and Orbital...I was hoping there was another way but I guess I will have to buy another soundcard. By external do you mean USB though? That would make it a lot easier. Anyway, once I have one output to the speakers and one to the phones, that should be pretty much it right?
