eh, my first thought on this who thing is "who cares?"
but it is unfair for her to be getting out early.
On the other hand, its a little ridiculous that she was even sent to jail in the first place.
A few years ago I drove on a suspended license, got pulled over and basically told the cop, and later the DMV that I never got the suspension notice in the mail. They were cool, and nothing happened. The prospect of going to Essex County jail for 45 days for that offense would seem a little over the top though. |
she didn't go to jail for driving on a suspended, it was for violating probation by driving on the suspended. If you get VOP in NJ you definitely go to jail. maybe not that long, but jail is a sure bet.
House arrest in her case isn't exactly a punishment. Staying in a mansion with butlers and such isn't exactly punishment. Her punishment should be to make her stay at a motel on tonnelle ave in jersey city. One of those hooker motels where you pay by the hour.
