How to create a proper snare? Should the kick volume be turn down (when snare hits)? Or maybe the pitch turn up? How to EQ and compress it? Which FX's use? Could someone explain it, please?

What is a "proper snare" anyway?

There are no set rules for a "proper snare", you just need to do what suits the track you are doing.

Exactly, snares in general dont need to be sidechained or anything to make room for kick, eq should be good enough and with compression it should have plenty presence.

I like to use gated reverb on my snares/claps.

I use the excact same snare for almost all tracks

take a snare that you like the sound of and just play around. How you FX and mix it depends totally on the track. With some tracks you'll prolly want shitloads of tail on the snare, and in some other tracks you might want it short and snappy.

it's all in the creators mind...

There is no formula really, whatever sits and sounds good in the mix.

Use any snare or clap while your producing and arranging the track but the final Snare choice should be added at the end when the track is almost done....a different snare or clap sound will change the track and could make or break it. As far as getting a good Snare sound...try Layering and use some PSP Vintage Warmer on it if you want it thick.

I don't think the snare will affect your kick as it uses different frequencies, but you can always compress it a little bit also.

I tend to like to use chorus, flanger and/or some delay on my snares to give them a little bit 'extra'.
