Masterkeys & DJ Simi - The Streets EP (Yoshitoshi Rec. | YO15)
guys, this is THE tune of Deep Dish' Essential Mix from 2004 @ Creamfields .....
this is what all you house-addicts have been waiting for. and for the pure tran-centialists amongst us; you'll really dig this tune .
The Streets EP is released on Yoshitoshi rec., DD's own label. Finally, after some 3 yrs of waiting, they finally come out with this. This was one of the best tunes in their EM (according to reviews), but ever since, not much about was known about it. Me myself started some threads on different forums about it, but I couldnt get further then 1 release which featured this track. The artists are credited/ID-ed as (DJ) Simi & Masterkeys sometimes, but also as Simi & Marotta.. not very obvious, i understand, and I know that BBC's EM tracklisting is more a guide then a fact-teller, but i still havent found the real names of the artists. its for at least (DJ) Simi incorporated in this EP
anyway, the EP (web-release) consists of 3 tunes.
A) 4 Da Underground (=> this is what its all about)
B) Streets
C) Wish
I havent listened to C&D yet a lot, since the fact that tis tune is released has shaken me off my chair ever since i knew it.
its all about 4 Da Underground here.
its a very darl, melodic and almost progressive house tune. the main melody doesnt change a lot during the tune, but it has a real underground feeling in it, yet its very chilly, what a taste of summer!
hope y'all check out this tune asap and let me know what ya think. this is big news!!!(to me )

House was ooit house. Waar ongelovigen toch predikten “God made me funky, and I’m glad He blessed me this way”. |
