Heya mate. Listening

This one is very heavy. Excellent bass. The bass drum is ok.

Nice initial percs & fx. THe hihats @ 1:30 are a great layer.

Sweet ambient pads. Adds a mysterious atmosphere.

The new freaky high fx pattern @ 2:30 is cool. Maybe a little low in the mix.

Break...

3:40 Nice bass change! Head bangen now...

4:55 yeah that is good shit. Would love it forward more in the mix.

7:00 the ending bass & fx doesn't do much for me. Still, nice percs.

Nice work frost. Definitely a tune id listen to again.

Bass sounds good, pattern is great, Kick is a little weak.

Sound effects are good... subtle yet there. Nice

2:33...Creepy synth that comes in here, could be a bit louder. It's good.

Great choice of synth sounds. 5:12-5:20 is sweet! Getting it a bit offkey and wobbly caught me offguard, and I liked it.

Ending is a little drawn out and empty, I like how you started the track, not sure about the ending.

Overall some really creative elements! If this isn't the final mix, I'd like to hear any changes you make.

Creepy Synth at 2:30 can be louder.
Kick drum is weak, /ei not enough low end or not punch enough?

I'll look into these areas.

oowww that intro is sooo weird lol
very befitting, like it lots.

the kick and bass is very typical for psy trance, so its always nice to hear. like those intro percs too. nice atmosphere.

1:40 oww we're moving in
very ambient around this time

2:32 cool voc lol, melody pretty trippy now
3:25 nice effect here, i think from the crash it gets a little distorted not sure tho.

4:29 now that sounds sick lol

u know listening to this reminds me a lot of cyberneticas work.
5:15 - 5:20 now that's detuned madness.
your freestyle with the detuning is pretty nifty, i like it.

nice song n all, a bit long id say, the ending is a bit weird aswell, sorta feels like it drags on a bit aswell.
that just might be how psy trance is however, and since i dont relaly know muchabout this genre ill leave my comments at this.

nice production overall though, good flowing ideas, keep up the good work.

I disagree with the others, I think kick and bass are just fine. Do you cut below 20-30 Hz? I'd do it because these frequencies can sometimes take away some energy of a tune.

Very trippy FX.
The percs are really awesome!
Trippy fx all the way, even though the track is very fast, it is also quite minimal.
Then some typical frost-raven leads which give the track just a little bit more uplifting feeling towards the end. Insane modulation once again makes it extremely interesting.

The track feels very minimal for the first half. It's the kind of spooky shit I would introduce the night time of a Forest Psy party. The atmosphere is unique and very mystical.

nice energy

I'm pretty novice as a producer so I'm not going to try to talk like I know something when I don't. I'm not terribly familiar with dark psy trance. The pulse of the beat would definitely keep me dancing. I really like all the different effects. What software did you use to create this? Did you synthesize the effects yourself or sample them? I'm kind of weak on effects in my production because I don't have the patience to create really good ones.

There's a sneeze sound at 0:18 that I wasn't sure about. It's probably just a combination of different effects that happened to be timed in a certain way.

I'm also wondering if the high stuff you get to at 4:30 should come in sooner. It seems to take a while to evolve at the beginning but again that may be me just not knowing psytrance.

This song gives me a lot of ideas for expanding my own work.

Thanks,
Agent Starchild

I boosted a bit of freq at 61 hz on my kick as well as cutting freqs starting at 30hz.

I boosted my bass at around 95hz and then cut at 30hz again.

I think I'm gonna listen to cyber about this track. I not change much.

If you want man...You can use this or Alice for you psyuntie mix...Which ever one you feel fits. This track is a lot darker then "Alice", but "Alice" hits harder.

Hey man, just giving this a spin!

Great atmosphere, some beautiful sweeps, perc stuff etc. and it all sounds really fresh.

I have to agree on the kick/bass though

Bass sounds slightly subby and kick could do with some more clarity, maybe trying layering another sound on top or working with a multiband compress or a kick/bass bus?

Tim.
