This is a remix of someone's track or is it really your track? The lead synth melody reminds me of a track I used to listen a long time ago (but i can't remember the name of it right now).

Well, anyway here goes my oppinions:

- I think the track is too fast (140+ BPM maybe)? Try to reduce it to 135 BPM or something a bit slower.

- Try to change the lead synth (starts at 02:57) to a more digital one (its too analog for my ears).

Other stuffs sounds cool for me. The track sounds nice (keep it up and post the new version when you change it).

Cya,

- Tinto

Overall I think it's pretty good. The overall rhythm, structure, and hook seem good.

I wasn't sure about the part where you switched over into breakbeat before your transition. It seemed a little forced. Something about the tone in the kick is a little weird. I want it to be deeper. Perhaps it's just that the kick and the snare need to be differentiated a little more. The snare needs to be louder or something.

Try some filter modulation on your lead to make it have that whole sweeping effect. I'm wondering if you should take out the lowest octave. It sounds like you have about a four octave span. I like the multiple octaves but something is inhibiting your lead from being as big and bad as it could be.

I'm thinking at the end you don't need that long stretch with just the drums by themselves but maybe that's just me.

I hope I'm not being too negative. When I give feedback, I tend to just write what I think I would change rather than writing about what is working. A whole lot of this is working.

Please check out my songs as well.

Peace,
Agent Starchild

Tinto - someone else said that to me, not quite sure what it is... quite a scarey fluke by the sounds of it!!

I'm thinking of changing the lead altogether, 1: to remove the octaves that loose the power, 2: to change the feel of the track, 3: to find a more appropriate sound for it and make it really cut through the mix.

I spent forever working on that kick drum, I'm going to turn it down a db or two and then do a bit more EQ on it... more subby right?

I'm going to leave in the end drums agentstarchild BUT I will try an make them more interesting with a few more layers and filters etc.

I'll try it at 135bpm ish also and see if the overall vibe seems better.

Thanks alot guys, really appreciated.

I'll post again once I've done this, any other opinions on what I'm about to do are also appreciated!

Tim.
