Think of it like a string instrument track only noise, but sustained throughout possibly whole track-(but most noticeable during buildup/main melody sections) will get examples up asap

They are simple noise sweeps. Just grab an instrument capable of producing noise (like the Albino3), get som white and brown noise, throw some effects of your choosing on top, lay out a note of noise of desired length then automate the cutoff on the filter.
I always have an instance of Albino3 in my projects for the sweeps. That way i can lay out as many bars of noise as i please at different points in the track without having to fiddle with some crappy pre-made .wav sweep.

Thanks alot guys. Yeah using synth capable and then automating is more versatile than using a .wav, but as far as setting duration-is that more opinion or is there usually a set number of bars the noise is kept for?
