I hope that people still use FL studio out there because I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a collab with me. Mr. Mystery's work with [mart] has kind of inspired me. I've got some melodies that I want to be finished. Let me know if you are up for it.

PS: I don't know how efficient it'll be with Ableton, Cubase, or Reason but if we could find a way to make it work, that'd be great too.

in my opinion, adding some percussion sounds that interact with the kick during the breakbeat in the first sample would make a huge difference. One or two snares and some crunchy hi-hats.
