I was looking for this song every where and I couldn't find it. Rumour is that on the " perfecto presents another world cd "
That the song was mistitled like som other tracks listings were a bit screwed.
I wanna find that song on another world on vinyl or if anyone can give me a site where the song is sold I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd also appreciate further info on what the deal is with this damn track.
Thanks a million !!!

The track is actually called Fable - Song To The Siren (Original Mix), and was made by Gez Dewar & Nick Hale aka Heliotropic. The Fable version was never officially released but only as a whitelabel vinyl (2000). The official release of the track, with a totally reworked original mix and Praha Remix on the flipside was under Vengeange (2001) and further remixes were released under Barraka (2002). All 3 aliases are then of the same guys.

This one is an old classic
The original "Song of the siren" was released in 70s (and don't ask me which year to be exact - i wasn't born) by Tim Buckley. I won't be surprised if someone comes and says it is from 40s.
It has come back time and time again and the most recent in my memeory is 2002 (???) through Robert Plant - Dreamland CD.
I assume since then many artists have put their own stamp to it.
Added later: Barraka's version is quite mesmerizing as well.

i fucking love the fable/vengeance version. such a great track! too bad it was never released digitally!
I hope some DJ will someday drop "Barraka - Song To The Siren (Max Graham Club Mix)" when the night is well into it's sublime (past all the energy) and i am light-headed with all the beer and all the emotions in my system.
The track is hypnotic and mesmerizing no matter when you hear it.
