I dunno. I know it won't be Alex Morph or Cor Fijneman though, they'd ruin my bandwith cap

definitely way too many packets for those guys
does this mean local djs are like shareware and TAs are freeware?
I'd want a DJ that comes with a proper uninstall for sure

Assuming you are one of the organizers for the Coaltepec event and you are figuring out which dj to bring I will pick:
Danny Howells. He has a unique sound, his sound is very eclectic, and blows the roof.

+1 but i only find him great when he does 10+ hours...he really is just ok when only doing a couple...one of those guys who really builds a set and needs the time to show his stuff.

jeff mills' radio show from the early and mid 80s. i read that they're great.
Deffinately a real old Thomas Bangalter set from the early 90's or so, BUT if not possible I'd get a JZab set of maybe the earlies 06, JZab is the only dj that im familiar with that does what I think a dj should do at this point in history.
no it would be one show i heard in 94 or 95 by a local dj. he broadcast a four-hour show on beyond records. i was able to record about two hours worth on a crappy 120 minute tape. there was one song from the beyond catalog that absolutely fascinated me and still does to this day, but only from memory because i lost or recorded over the tape. once i id that track i can die in peace.

james zabiela is a sideshow imo...great to watch bob around and mix but the music he plays is for sci fi nerds...not dance floors. Hideous producer and even worse at track selection...How Fanciulli decided to work with him is beyond me. If it wasn't for Sasha, he would still be playing in the bed room for his stuffed animals....blech.
