Has anyone had a chance to try out traktor scratch?

im looking for something like that or serato.

wow! i discovered this stuff to myself only today

i heard that tractor scratch was going to be better than serato in every way... did it just come out or something? i didnt know it was out yet...

its probably almost identical to final scratch since they both run traktor. i would guess that the only difference is that the hardware is made by NI instead of stanton.

again this is only speculation and i have no experience with this gear, but i can say that serato kicks ass.

yes, serato is solid (i have it too), but from what i'm hearing, traktor scratch is the next big thing... i havent tried it yet, but it looks/sounds pretty appealing to me.

i'm interested in getting this in the future.
atm though i wouldn't buy it as there's not enough reviews of it anywhere and i will not be able to go out and test it anywhere.
also what pisses me off about it is that there's no pdf manual available for download, so i can't really check the features well enough. good videos like on the torq site would help a bit too.

traktor scratch also seems to be the only one to support FLAC files, which is what i plan on encoding all my cds as if the FLAC support works.

I have Serato, and had Torq and Traktor Scratch. Sold both. What do you want to know?

flac support is a big deal to me. i archive all my cd's using flac.

also, i want to know if can use the audio8 or what ever the hardware piece is called will work w/regular traktor. i would love to be able use all 4 sources, since i have a 4 channel mixer, 2 TT's, and a dual deck cd player.

Yes, the Audio 8 can be used with regular Traktor. The Audio 8 is an ASIO and CoreAudio soundcard, so it can work with most DJ/Production/DAW programs.

i remember reading about audio 8 and traktor scratch a while back, but it wasn't clear to me whether the audio 8 would work regular traktor. i want to rock 4 sources, instead of just 2 sources like traktor scratch, or serrato scratch.

damn, this is just too much... maybe it's gonna 2008 before i have some change to buy some records... because lately it's been all out the gear. every time i think i'm done, something new gets added to the wishlist... the bottemless wishlist...

I just wanna know how stable it is compared to serato,
would it be better to buy traktor scratch or serato
keeping in mind that i dont use regular traktor or anything like that...
