60 Min Eclectic Harmonically Mixed Set

Hi guys,

I found this set on the Ableton Live Dj forums and wanted to share it here as the poster is not aware that we get into some of this stuff on a supposed trance site .

An absolute blinder of a set in many many ways !!!!!!

Anyway here are the details as posted.

The Boy is a Genius" - BBC Radio 1's Colin Murray

"Lancashires Answer to 2 Many DJs" - British National Press - The Guardian

"His mixes are absolute gems" - British National Press - The Independent

This is a mix Ive been working on for the last few months combining some of the highlights and best bits from a number of DJ sets ive been playing up and down the UK. This mix showcases a eclectic variety of styles ranging from Hip-Hop, Indie, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Drum and Bass, right through to Dance, all of which have blended using harmonic mixing theory. Ive not cheated by speeding anything up more than it could have been on a normal deck, nor have I pitched songs wildly up or down. Each track blends into the next building from 100bpm to a maximum of 180bpm

The 60 minutes of music here is some of my most technical work (and I think most professional) in terms of harmonics, DJing and mixing with the blend between 'Nostalgia 77: 7 Nation Army' and 'High Contrast: Everythings Different' being my favourite part (Track 22 - Track 23).

Enjoy.
