Lindsay Lohan is going to prison.
As if we were surprised -
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Lindsay Lohan, who just finished a second stint in rehab for substance abuse treatment, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Tuesday, authorities said.
Lohan, who is already facing a drunken driving charge in Beverly Hills, was pulled over near the Santa Monica Police Department after authorities spotted her car chasing another vehicle, said Sgt. Shane Talbot.
Authorities conducted a field sobriety test and then transported Lohan to the police department.
The 21-year-old actress was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of cocaine, among other charges, Talbot said.
Police found cocaine in one of her pants pockets during a pre-booking search, Talbot said.
A call to Lohan's publicist was not immediately returned.
According to PerezHilton.com, the Long Island native was pulled over in Santa Monica, California, at 2 a.m. PST (5 a.m. EST). A press conference will be held later this morning. She was released after posting a 25,000 bail, according to the blog.
Lohan had turned herself in Thursday to face charges of driving under the influence in connection with the Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run crash that sent her into rehab.
The 21-year-old actress surrendered at the Beverly Hills Police Department Thursday afternoon to be fingerprinted and photographed, Officer Brian Ballieweg said.
Lohan's blood-alcohol level at the time of the crash was above California's 0.08 percent legal limit, Ballieweg said. He wouldn't disclose how high it was. She is also faces a misdemeanor charge of hit and run, he said.
At that time, Lohan was released on her recognizance. A court date was scheduled for August 24.
