holy FUCK this show is dope!

just watched the first episode
in each episode, they go to a martial arts' native land, learn both techniques of the style and the history of it, then one of the two guys fights a champion of the style at the end
really interesting too, cause since its the history channel you get the history, and a shitload of science with it. like when analyzing some of the muay thai kicks, they give you the force the kick can deliver, and something comparable (a good muay thai power angle kick can deliver the same force as a full swing with a baseball bat)

I love the show, but mostly for the historical pieces on the arts. The fights look insanely pussy. The champions should knock them the fuck out.

Also, the part where the football player breaks the bamboo stick in half with his elbow and then walks away, saying "yeah, i think I'm ready", it made me roll my eyes.
