The Progressive Showcase: 'Spring/Summer 2007 Edition'

Introducing to you all my brand new syndication "The Progressive Showcase Presents...". Periodically throughout the year I will now be selecting, mixing & hosting two exclusive new mixes showcasing my sound in a completely new light & in much more depth than before.

As I'm sure many of you are aware my internet based radio show 'The Progressive Showcase' has been running for over 15 months since it's debut broadcast on www.trancemixers.com way back in February 2006. In that time I've presented & mixed over 50 one hour episodes to great acclaim & with the show going from strength to strength I feel now is the time to further enhance the brand name with a series of compilation style mixes throughout each year.

Each edition will revolve around the seasons with the Spring/Summer Edition kicking us off to be followed by the Summer/Autumn & so on throughout the year. Each edition will feature two mixes both showcasing contrasting aspects of my sound.

Mix One will be entitled 'A Little Deeper...' & will focus upon the deeper tracks that go into my sets, generally translating into an early evening set mainly comprising of progressive house style tracks.

Mix Two will be entitled 'A Little Lighter...' & as the name suggests will be comprised of the lighter aspects of my sound, consisting of tracks classed as progressive trance & perhaps an illustration of a more 'peak-time' sound, building things up as if it was a club set.

For both mixes on the new Edition I have taken the time to carefully consider which tracks have been staples in my sets over the past few weeks & also to include some new music, tracks that I feel will go on to dominate the next few weeks as we enter Summer.

The full tracklists are included below along with direct download links, to download simply copy & paste the link into a new web-browser window before typing in the three case sensitive letters at the top right of the megaupload screen. I've also included the direct link to my WaxDJ site which has both mixes available for streaming & download.

Mix One has around 4 songs which I bought from digital download sites already so I might download this to hear how they sound in a mix

Many thanks once again to all who downloaded these two mixes, between the two of them I have received more downloads than most of my other sets put together. The concept seemed to go down very well & it's almost time for the second edition of this concept entitled 'The Progressive Showcase Summer/Autumn 2007 Edition'

As with the first release I will be mixing two CD length sets compromising of some of the tracks that have been huge for me out & about over the last couple of months & also some future hits.

Mix one is complete with mix two being prepared & mixed tomorrow afternoon, any of you wishing to grab the previous installment please do so tonight or early tomorrow as I'll be removing them both from my waxDJ site tomorrow afternoon to make way for the new edition.

Thanks again for the support of these two mixes & I hope you enjoy the two new ones due soon
