Thanks to tech head, I did know you could get a conversion for the djm 1000.

First time I ever played on one was my birthday last year - Sean and Nevio thought it would be hilarious to throw the drunk and sloppy b-day boy up on the decks and they couldn't get me off of it. I believe it was the Rane.... what a sexy beast.

Then this summer, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Russell (techead) had set up for John Creamer the DJM1000 with the rotary (which I as well, did not know was possible).... and I liked that even better.

The booth at Fluid was my fav rotary expierence. The sound +the rane rotary was as comfortable, or more, than mixing at home!

Glad I found a fellow rotary fan, we seem to be few at far between!

edit: ps. moderately jealous you played on a 1000 with the rotary conversion!
