Everything except a cart..you need to buy one of those seperate...they could cost you for a decent one..like $100 a piece. You could get yourself a less expensive one but if you want the best sound quality...go Ortofon or Shure.

If im playing on time coded vinyl (serato) should i spring for the special ones from ortofon, they are quite a bit more expensive than all the other ones. The nightclubs are supposed to be the best right?

Yeah they are. Well you might not really need extremely high end carts but you should still get some that will last. Most by Shure are good. I had the Whitelabels and the SC35-C cartridges and both had decent sound. The SC-35C only was $50 a piece. The White labels were like $120 a piece. If you could find something in the middle...you might have good luck. Check out the Shure M440...seems to be in the middle, though the Whitelabel is closer to an Ortofon as far as being a banana style (I think they are called that). Haven't used TTs in two years...

White labels are great carts, that what I've used for years....they last a long time.

You really don't need carts that good if you're playing only timecode, but they will probably be more reliable so that is a plus.

brand new tech should come with a slipmats, and headshell, but no cartridge. If you dont want to spend too much money, i'd go with the shure 35s. For time code, and general mixing they are a great bang for the buck.
