Hey I was wondering how to tie notes together with midi notes on Ableton. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I was had another question regarding Ableton. I was wondering how you guys can get things that you created in live mode to play in the arrange mode(When you hit tab). The only way I have been able to do this is if I freeze the track and then consolidate it. Then it will play in the arrange mode.

I know these questions must seem really newbie, so don't flame me too hard. But if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

At the top of the screen there is a red button with 3 lines and an arrow that. It is right near your play, stop and record buttons.
Click that.
As for tying notes together, I don't know what you are on about.

Now go read the manual before the angry TAs get you.
