Hey...I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good trance club in Las Vegas...any local Djs that anyone has heard of????

...what's the scene like...its not too uptight...I hate going to a club and feel like I'm on the catwalk the whole time. I just want to let loose and enjoy the music...you think Jet would accommodate this???

check out empire ballroom, its a late night party...Infected Mushroom just played there last weekend

then stay away from Tao! ugh, i saw eric morillo there and the whole crowd was on a catwalk, well a cracked out catwalk and not there for the music or dj. in fact many people i talked to didn't even know who morillo was, they were just there because you know, paris has gone there. whatever

I moved to Vegas from LA 8 months ago and all I can say it kinda a sucks that most of the clubs here play Hip Hop and trendy shit for tourist on Fri/Sat nights. They kick big Trance/House DJs to Wednesdays or Sundays. Empire Ballroom has decent Sat night shows though and they go after hours...

actually jet on monday's now has somethin goin on... i think Paulo Mojo is playing there this monday night and faarsheed is opening...

also, every sunday is Hacienda at Revolution Lounge at the mirage... I saw Steve Lawler and Hernan Cattaneo play there a litle over a month ago and it was sick. Not too packed and it seemed like everyone who was there knew about the music... not just random tourists looking to go to a club. Thing about Rev. Lounge is that it really is more of a lounge but sunday night's is definitely good and people are still jumping around goin crazy... so it's fun. Blank & Jones are actually playing there sometime soon I think...

I'll be in vegas tomorrow morning... im waiting at the friggin airport in maui right now to catch a flight at midnight... so tired... but i might go to Jet on monday night... it's my birthday that day so who knows what can happen

Empire ballroom is the only place that plays trance. The rest is house...and by the rest I mean the new monday night at Jet, 3400. Faarsheed puts it on and has its grand opening the 13th....yea, paulo mojo is playing the week before its grand opening :P




but yea, if you really want trance, check out late night empire...pretty much any day of the week they ahve some good local dj puttin on some trance.



as far as the scene, empire is laid back and you can party like no other even with a t-shirt on. I have gotten into jet with t-shirts also, but the place is filled with ginos with popped collars lookin for ph00n not ch00ns. still great music in the new back room though

Exactly!!! Mondays, Wednesdays, Sundays but nothing on Fri/Sat nights except at the Empire Ballroom.
