Damn't, I'm living with that now! I'm in the middle floor of a 3 story apartment complex. I think upstairs was unoccupied for awhile, because just recently I've been hearing that 3 year old running back and forth around the apartment!!! He runs from the front door to the balcony, back and forth, all day--no lie!!
And the walls that separate the apartments are concrete, but that doesn't do anything about the sound. I can easily hear the baby next door crying. Or when my neighbor is yelling at her husband; her super high pitched voice travels through the concrete with ease. At least I only have one neighbor on the side.
