Bringing Supersaw Back

...Not really, but still, I love the supersaw. LOVE IT.

There was a thread awhile ago on this but: If you have made any supersaw sounds lately, post em here!

Link: Supersaw Pad
Synth: Z3ta
DAW/Sequencer: Cubase sx3
Sound Type: Pad/Lead

Information:
used all 6 oscillators with vintage 2 saw waveform. Set each Osc to multi. The distance between each osc is about 12 cents so it doesn't phase as much. The detune nob is around the middle, 90-100 ish for each osc.

A slight pitch lfo was added for vibrato

I used the filter to spread it just a bit in stereo. No z3ta effects were used.

Effects (in order):
1. Tonic Low Pass Filter (set at 6dB)
2. Tonic High Pass (for when you need to put a bassline + kick in, to clear up room. This would be done in the automation lane)
3. A bit of chorus, just a bit, barely any though
4. Stereo Delay with barely any feedback/size, also put a low pass on it at around 180hz
5. Massive reverb (otherwise it sounds dry as hell)
6. EQ to give room to other instruments, or put a cut at 9-12khz perhaps, but i didn't

Hope to see some other peoples supersaws!

Peace

There's no need for a new one.

Sorry Mystery, I respect the Vizay thread too much. It must RIP sometime. BTW, mystery I know you have some supersaw samples on that harddrive of yours. You must have been taken back by the waveform at one point in your life.

Leng, that is nice. How did you make that?

my main intention with that thread was to keep it all in once place, this is the exact oposite

I don't care about who posts what in that thread as long as it's supersawstuff. Keep the forums clean, use the resources that are here already

Sorry bud, you're right, I can't lie.

I do love supersaws. After making that supersaw, I couldn't even think. I just had to show the world. Your thread influenced me lots. I'm going to post a z3ta+cubase tutorial to make a nice supersaw, hopefully with a few videos, and pics. So I Will dump it here.

Hey Anti-Derivative, heres my mix with the super sin, just for you:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/6pe5mi

I just turned down the volume by a few decibels, and switched from vintage saw to sin. There are 6 oscillators with 8 voices each, and 5 on the harmony, so 5 * 8 * 6 = 240 sins.

Enjoy!
