"you wanna get naked and start the revoolution?"

video here.

by the way, I hate Roger Waters and his Global Warming crusade of late.
The first lyrics of "sausage, eggs and beans" were recently sampled by Crosstown Rebel's Minilogue in their release named 'Urubamba' out now on god knows what record label...

The important thing is to pay attention to their comments about electronic machinery and music. Who owns who? the big dilemma...

idk why anyone would expect profound thoughts on anything practical from such people.

it's not as if artists, actors, & other entertainment celebrities are known for their enlightened social or political commentary.

edit: or, frankly, insight on anything.

Only fools get their political ideas from politicians. Unfortunately, there are a lot of fools.

I'd rather listen to music with universal appeal, and that doesn't make my head implode with frustration if I happen to hear the words. It's one of the reasons I like EDM, and one of the reasons that so many people waste the first half of their lives believing absurd ideas.

well, Pink Floyd isn't exactly talking politics here. They're talking about music, and I think that if there ever were people with the right to have thoughts about music and technology and the combination of the two, they're the ones. Greatest quote from that DVD: "it was basically what happens when you have all the right equipment but no idea how to use any of it." Utter masters of improvisation, using their equipment to its maximum potential but without losing their style and the human elements.

Also, the Roger Waters of late isn't really Pink Floyd on his own, neither is David Gilmour, and I really wish that musicians in general would realize that nobody gives a damn about their political views or whatever cause they're promoting. Stick to music, it's what you do best.

Thank you Matt,

Yes and yes, if there is a group or band of musicians you should listen and take advice from is the great pink floyd. They were so good that their music has stood the test of time and wow can you imagine how forward-thinking their sound is that when you listen to people like Robert Hood and Henke, you realize that much of their influence comes from progressive/experimental rock?
