DJM800 is a nice one and you can use the link system with the CDJs.

Have you tried the Xone:92 (which is about the same price as the DJM800) ?

The Korg zero 4 is more for DJs that use software to mix, both the DJM 800 and the Xone92 are amazing mixers and you should carefully consider each' respective features before dropping that kind of cash or getting yourself into a monthly payment plan or whatever.

this is an endless debate. DJM800 and Xone (62 or 92) are the club standart these days (other than the Rane mixer). If you want a lot of MIDI controls, DJM is the way to go. I think 90% of the mixer has midi controls while the Xone:92 only has 6 controls. BUT (and this is a very good +), the Xone filters and EQ are awesome. I got the EFX1000 with a Xone:92 and mixing Xone Filters with the EFX effects is totally awesome. Filters are a unique thing on Xone mixers.

The best way to determine which mixer is right for you is to test them first. I tried the Xone:92 and DJM800 before buying the Xone. The Xone is more a studio mixer than the DJM, and maybe this is because I was a sound technician before and I am use to studio mixers, but I found the Xone to be more "complete". Of course the DJM has all (or near all) the effects that the EFX1000 has, but I didn't like the feel of the DJM.

Again, DJM800 vs Xone:92 is an endeless debate and the choice depends on what you need and which one you feel right for you after you tested them.

Is this your first mixer?

If so I suggest going with a Xone, keep it simple! Learn your basics on a truly quality piece of equipment, and you'll learn more about mixers and their intricacies then you ever would pouring over endless internet articles and forum posts.

I started with a xone 62 and 2 CDJ800s, best decision I ever made, I learned all my basics with that equipment and if I hadn't absolutely fallen in love with software, I would still be a proud owner of that equipment!

In fact I'm thinking of re-purchasing it, (Maybe a Xone:92 this time) and incorporating it into what I do with Ableton Live.

this is why I bought the Xone. A bit more complex than the DJM because of the filters and of the studio mixer type, but overall, if you wanna know the basics, stay out of the effects because you'll use them all the time. Filters on the Xone will help you to know a bit about sound waves if you don't know already. And then, you'll understand how effects works over a wave form. That is, the basic_.

Alex, get the Xone:92 if you can. But keep in mind that it does not have a lot of midi controls and if you wanna map the controls with ableton, you'll be very limited compared to the DJM.
