look in the uk forumd there a whole thread about what cud be going on, there will be an official statement posted by gatecrasher soon. its highly likely that it is going monthly over summer when its going to be dead then back to weekly after, but check out the thread in the UK forum anyway...

It's also called IBIZA!......the reason for the deadness......smart move on gatecrasher's part.

hrm....I know a lot of Brits flock to Ibiza for the summer but it's hardly enough to affect the business of a club as big as Crasher. I still reckon it's all a publicity stunt to get people through the doors between now and summer sound system. They'll announce the week before SSS that because of recent good business it's going to remain weekly afterall. They did the same with Heinz Salad Cream in the UK.

Either that or they've got something else up their sleave. Maybe they're launching different nights for the other 3 weekends of the month. A hard trance or a prog night or something.

Gatecrasher's a global franchise, even if the club itself is losing money the whole business is based around Gatecrasher being the biggest club in the world, if it became a monthly night it wouldn't have that same pulling power abroad and the whole brand would be useless.
