Emersion switches gears for 2 special Saturday events with two of our favorite producers, each making their Chicago debut, and a few fellow locals, at the brand new Wax Lounge (located right near Crobar & Zentra). The drink packages are pretty ridiculous as well, as $30 will get you in the door and a wristband for all-you-can-drink top shelf all night, no joke!

SHAWN MITISKA - ARMADA, BAROQUE, CURVVE RECORDINGS
At just 21 years of age Shawn Mitiska has already proven himself as an accomplished DJ & producer, having gained worldwide recognition, through both his residencies on DI.fm & ETN.fm as well as through his tracks which have been featured by every top DJ across the globe, including Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Tiesto, Nick Warren & John Digweed just to name a few. Shawn Mitiska, Matt Cerf & Jaren - Light the Skies (Retrobyte's Classic Electrobounce Mix) is showcased as the opening track on Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance 2007" mix CD and one their latest collaborations. "Me & You", includes remixes from many of the world's top producers, including Jody Wisternoff, Damien Heck & Santiago Nino. The future looks very bright for Shawn as he is currently working on an album of all new original productions with Matt Cerf & Jaren set to be released on Armada, continues to produce additional work, including an upcoming release on Currve called "After-Hours Ensemble" with Joey Medina, and prepares for an upcoming international tour schedule with dates alongside Tiesto in Canada and his first appearances headlining in China. www.shawnmitiska.com

D!G!T! - DIGIT PROMOTIONS
D!G!T! is a collaboration between Chicago based progressive house DJs Andy Olinski and Omar Bashir. After performing seperately for several years at many of Chicago's best venues, the two have combined forces to fuse their different styles and also collaborate on original production work. They also have launched Digit Promotions and after running events at several Chicago venues, including Tini Martini & Vision Nightclub, they have expanded their EMERSION brand to promote parties at various clubs throughout the Midwest to showcase local talent and host major artists from around the world. DARIN EPSILON - DI.fm, AMP, CURVVE RECORDINGS
Darin Epsilon's advanced technical skills, seamless transitions, and unique programming abilities have continually received praise from key industry players and taste-makers. DJ’s from all over the country have recognized his talent. His mixes have been featured on nearly all major internet radio stations, including Digitally Imported (DI.fm), Proton Radio, Frisky Radio, Mercury Sessions, and XTC Radio London. He has also made repeat appearanaces as featured artist on Channel 80 'The Move' on XM Satellite Radio. During a typical set, his music selection ranges everywhere between Progressive House, Tribal, Breaks, Techno, Tech-House and Trance. Presently, he hosts Perspectives on the Progressive Channel of Digitally Imported (www.DI.fm). Tune in every 4th Wednesday of the month to catch the freshest sounds from the world's biggest and brightest new talents. Guests scheduled to make an appearance include Jondi & Spesh, Mashtronic, Can Costa, and Matt Rowan, among others. He continues to work hard and push himself towards becoming a world-class DJ and producer. 2007 looks to be a big year, with opportunities to travel nationally as well as internationally. He is also in the process of wrapping up a number of original productions. Curvve Recordings recently signed his remix of Nothing by world-reknowned producer Noel Sanger.
