Liam Brennand, producing as Limbo, is the label founder for the free digital label Mmmph and has had an EP on Tide Pool. To boot he's got remixes out on Manual and Proton Music.

On December 6th, 2006 Limbo guest starred on "Mixtapes" show and immediately garnered the attention of our listeners and Proton directors Sam & Jason. His astute ear for catchy melodies and an eclectic fusion of genres accomplished the impossible-- repeat plays on the iPod, a Featured Artist mix, a remix contract, a single contract, and more guest mixes. All in the course of a few months!

"Math" can't really be pigeon holed into a specific genre-- from the clip on Beatport you might be fooled into thinking its a 9 minute wash of atmospheric breakdowns, but the heart of the track is a visceral build that transcends the standard structure of most dance tracks. Think Border Community style meets Digital Witchcraft melodies.

But if its all too weird for you, the remixes are a bit more tangible: on one hand remix duty is handled by Manual artist QBical, known for his absolutely stunning "Warm Fuzzy Electrons" track that came out at the end of last year. On the other, The Dophins (Toolroom Records, Ocean Dark) out of Italy deliver a stunning remix that turns the original on its head and into a churning tech(no) cut.

Funny I stumbled across this on Beatport minutes before I even saw this thread. I was about to buy the track with the Dolphin remix but listened again and decided not to. I'll have to hear this in full form to make my decision I think.

Another fan of the original here. The remixes aren't my cup of tea.
