Hi everyone. I am a huge Piemont fan and have been really digging his stuff for awhile. I really am enjoying his remix of Goldfish-Panic .Any other fans of his? Recomendations from people who like his work (for other artists of course) would be greatly appreciated. Its my first post in here, and i am hoping people are a bit less catty then in the chill out room. Cheers!

I just picked up the original of that Goldfish track, pretty sweet. Isn't Piemont a label as well?

I believe so. I like the original as well, i just find the remix has more of a dancefloor feel to it. The melody is beautiful in either.

I just found out that one of the Piemont guys is Dejonka and the other is Phunklarique. Have heard decent music from the 2 aliases, but unfortunately nothing by the duo

Piemont is excellent, although they are in need of a slight change of style in my opinion, nothing too major, maybe a little more focus on da bassssssssssss

Although i find bass is great, I truly believe there can be rythmic and melodical elements to tracks that do not need overkill on the lower levels.

For instance, I heard a Deadmau5 track called Dr. Funkenstein. It might rock the dancefloor, but really has little or nothing to it and sounds like one long "fart". When you ease off on the bass and concentrate more on melodies i tend to find the music to be more versatile.
