Why even bother with a list of trance artists?

Well it's Wikipedia ofcourse, and this controversial subject aswell...

I would not put these names in such a list though.

So you could ask if this is a trance list or not??
I would not think such a list would be bad though, it could be a good thing for newcommers to get a picture of the past and the present if such a list would be correct. But it would also need to be more specific with the subgenres aswell (here we go again god help me).
Some controversial names like Scooter could need an explaination since they do actually have made contributions to the scene but nowadays doesn't have the same connection with the trance scene.
The list right now is way to balanced towards melodic (and even house) so corrections are nessecary to give the whole picture.
Good to have such a list though!

I think it will give people who know little about trance false information, I dont think many new comers know that Dance 2 Trance is made up of 2 people (I had to make sure myself) and not 1. This list does not say if they are a group or not.
