My current tower has 12 usb ports, firewire, ethernet, 2 DVI connections for my monitors, 3x320gb HD's, 2 DVD drives and a floppy disc drive(think thats all the main bits).

I actually have a 4U Antec rack mount computer myself, it's a great way to fit it into a rack mount production desk. Photos here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...rax#post7876523
Everything that fits in a tower case should fit in this one. From the specs you mentioned, it is difficult to tell though. For example, when you say that you have 12 USB ports (which is a little insane) I don't know if those are onboard the mother board, if you have some in the front, and/or if you have one or more PCI cards.
Another thing to consider is your motherboard style you will be using. The case you specified is for Standard ATX (9.6”x 12”).
You might also want to look on eBay. I got my case for like half the price of the link you posted.

Tbh mate i aint got a clue about computers.
Yeah there are 2 usb at the front, a few just below where the keyboard and mouse plug in and then about 5 or 6 near the bottom of the rear where the firewire port is.
I think there are only 2 monitor slots and my motherboard ir an intel 945 if this helps?

Intel 945 is a chipset. Do you have the model number? (Should be something like "D945GNT".)
From what you said, everything should be able to be transplanted to this case just fine, as long as the mother board is the right size. However, if you don't know much about computers, this could be a difficult task. You have to hook up a lot of things (like the USB ports built into the case) that aren't easy to do. As you can get someone who knows what they're doing to help you out, you should be fine though.

Personally; I've got a Carillon case; long since upgraded since I got it in 2000 or so. Kind of handy; it's a lovely case; but I've never actually rack mounted it yet.

Ry, surely you know someone kind of savvy with computers? As above; this would be a quick job for someone semi competent.

You can get the Carillon AC1 on eBay as cheaply as any other rack-mountable case. But, it's only worth it if you use it for the audio add-ons that are intended for the unit because you lose a lot of other things on the front like USB ports.
