mEgo is not pronounced like Eggo
A good friend of mine, Julia Johnston, just launched a new company called mEgo, which she also co-founded and is CEO. If you spend any time on a social networking site such as Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Tagged, etc., you may want to check out www.mego.com.
A couple of days ago mEgo also presented to some of the most influential people in the technology industry - from VCs to senior executives at Yahoo, Google, NewsCorp etc - at the TechCrunch40 Conference in San Francisco ( www.techcrunch20.com ). There were over 700 companies from around the world who applied to present at the conference, which I think validates the quality of the idea and the company.
Very cool, IMO. So proud of Julia. Amazing chick.
