An estimated 200,000 people are interned in concentration camps. 2,000,000 people died in the 1990's famine. The people are indoctrinated from birth to believe in a political psuedo-religion known as Juche where the Kim's are worshiped as living gods.
Q5echo, According your system of diplomacy which says a democratic country of power has a moral justification to democratize other sovereign countries, why did we come to a resolution with North Korea, which has a nuclear weapon, and not come to a resolution with Iraq who had nothing but a few old cannisters of nerve gas?

gee i don't know man, you'll have to ask the Japanese. if you don't get the response you want from them then maybe you could ask the Chinese or the Russians or the South Koreans?
i'm not sure what vaccum you choose to live in but there are other people on this planet who have just as vested an interest in non-proliferation than what interest you seem to feign here for whatever myopic geo-political views you have.

SO are you the US was so quick to invade Iraq because there were no strong neighbors around? Ok, so just as long as there are no strong countries nearby, if the country pisses us off, we can invade, right? I mean, that's what happened in Iraq right?
As for your second paragraph, what's your point?

Nice try. If there was a China next to Iraq, for damn sure, there would have been no invasion.
