RONSKI SPEED

The East German producer and DJ Ronski Speed aka Sun Decade has created some of the most in demand tracks and remixes of the last few years. His records "E.O.S.;, "Iris", "2Day E.P.", “The Space We Are”, "Asarja" together with label mate Mirco De Govia, the 2005 smasher “Incognition” with Stoneface & Terminal and the Sun Decade singles ("Follow You" and the groundbreaking "I'm Alone") were genuine club smashers and were hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten.
Starting his musical career in 1997, the dj Ronski Speed was quickly signed to brand new label Euphonic.
He wrote and produced together with Rough Mullar for projects like Sonorous or Barefoot Brains.
2000: He kicked off with a remix of the now legendary "Glass Garden” by Sonorous which became a massive club hit. The project Barefoot Brains released the Remedy/Poison EP in UK.
2001: From there Ronski and Rough Mullar co-produced Mirco De Govia including the tracks "Epic Monolith" & "Things That Matter" and also Mirco’s remix work which has included Ralphie B’s "Massive" and Lasgo’s "Something"(UK top 10). In Germany the Ronski Speed remix of Kyau vs. Alberts “Outside” was released on Wea/Club Culture records and entered the german sales charts.
2002: Together with his studio mate Rough Mullar aka Sonorous he wrote and remixed the singles "Second Sun" and "Protonic”. They both started the project Sun Decade together alongside singer Devia Lea. The first release was the legendary "I'm Alone", which became a massive club hit.
2003: “I’m Alone” of Sun Decade was re-released in UK and Ronski delivered a series of quality remixes.
Binary Finary’s legendary “1998”, Goldenscan’s massive “Sunrise”, Aly & Fila’s epic“Eye Of Horus”, Miro’s classic “By Your Side” helped him to spread his name all over world. His first solo single “Iris” became a massive club hit, it was played by all the big names and picked up by Paul Van Dyk for his Mixmag Mix-CD in UK. Together with Mirco De Govia he and Mr. Mullar finished some tracks for the Chronoscale album and the massive Mirco De Govia remix of Kyau vs. Albert’s “Velvet Morning”. Ronski starts also focusing on his dj career and starts his first own radio show on Di.FM.
2004: “E.O.S.” was released on Euphonic and later on atcr in UK. Ronski remixed Armin Van Buuren’s “Burned With Desire”, Tatana’s “Always On My Mind” and Rusch & Murray’s “The Promise” for Anjuna Beats. All these mixes helped him to defined his own unique sound. Sun Decade’s second single “Follow You” appears.
The DJ mix compilation "Positive Ways 3" showcasing Ronski’s deck-side abilities between Progressive and Trance. Lately Ronski entered at number 83 of the 2004 DJ-MAG Top 100 voting.
2005: The year starts of with the massive collaboration with Mirco De Govia called “Asarja”, followed by the “2Day” EP and “Sole Survivor” together with the polish talent Sebastian Sand. The track “Incognition” with Stoneface & Terminal became one of the highly demanded progressive trance tunes in 2005. This track made it on every playlist. PvD featured the track on his DJ Mag Mix CD and Eddie Halliwell on his Mix for the December Mixmag CD.
Even for the DJ Ronski Speed was 2005 the strongest year so far! He performed in the UK (e.g. Gatecrasher, Passion, Wildchild, Dance Academy), USA, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Canada, Russia, Holland, Switzerland, Scandinavia and not to forget his home country Germany.
There he played for the first time at the Nature One Festival. In March 2005 Ronski Speed played in front of a 200.000 crowd at the Love Parade Mexico in Acapulco. Furthermore he mixed and compiled the official Love Parade CD. In November 2005 we saw the wordwide release of his mix-cd “Monsterseries Vol.1”
At all these gigs, with these mix-cds and his monthly Radio Shows on DI.FM and ETN.FM Ronski Speed permanent shows his talent in choosing the right tracks at the right time. In conclusion of this presence Ronski Speed entered the tranceaddict.com top100 at #30 and the djmag top list at #119.
2006: The 3rd Sun Decade Single “Have It All” was released. Remixes for Above & Beyond’s “Alone Tonight”, Solar Scape’s “Alive again” and Luminary’s “Wasting” saw the light of day. “Incognition” was re-released in UK.
Beside a lot of ground solid bookings all over the world Ronski played for the first time in China.
He furthermore played for the first time in Thailands Super-Club Astra in Bangkok and finally he headlined a night at a Spundae Los Angeles. The new single “Space We Are” was released with a big remix by John O’Callaghan after the summer months. In October Ronski Speed returned on #87 at the 2006 DJ Mag Top100!
2007: The year starts with Ronski’s massive remix for the track “Hold Me Till The End” by the DT 8 Project. Furthermore the mash-up of his single “E.O.S.” with the Oceanlab track “Satellite” was released on the first
10 years euphonic vinyl sampler. In March Ronski Speed finished a remix for ATB’s new single “Renegade”. Thru the support of Armin van Buuren and Markus Shulz a Mashup of Ronski’s “The Space We Are” vocals and Rex Mundis track “Perspective” becomes very popular. In July 2007 the new Ronski Speed with Stoneface & Terminal track “Soulseeker” will be releasesd. At the moment Ronski is busy with working on his first own artistalbum and on a Ronski Speed Live-Act!
