What can be said about this movie....It does EXACTLY what it sets out to do. It's an over-the-top action film, with unrealistic stunts, a hot co-star, and lots of shooting and fighting in-between.

I think this is a great movie based on the fact that it doesn't try to be gimmicky (ie Mr. and Mrs. Smith), and it doesn't try to fill the shoes of a bigger and better film....It just is what it is....Violent.

It's not my cup of tea, but I'm sure that lots of pubescent males would love to see this.

If you guys wanna see an awesome, incredible, Monica Bellucci film, watch Irreversible. It's very controversial and really pushed the boundaries of filmmaking. When this movie came out in the 2001 (i can't remember if that's correct) film fest, people protested the graphic violence and sexuality in this film. To me, it was just an ultra-realistic and influential film. Don't watch it if you have a weak stomach. It features a very brutal, and very realistic rape scene.

Rape scene was one thing, the fire extinguisher scene on the other hand... yikes!

As for "Shoot 'Em Up", I am quite looking forward to this. Love Clive Owen, Monica Belluci and of course Paul Giamatti. Looks good!

I actually missed the fire extinguisher scene. I saw it on the IFC channel but I missed the first part.


Paul Giamatti is my favourite character in the film. I love the poster creative with him talking on the phone and holding a gun with the other hand. It's such an amusing contrast between the conservative looking gentleman, and the badass gangster.
