Been wondering this for awhile now...

So... What, exactly, does "tune" mean. I see people say it alot and I've been able to infer that it is something positive, but I'm still not entirely sure what it means or how it came about. Is it just a European thing, or specific to a certain region?

Very thorough, but none of those definitions seem to be for the usage I am thinking of.

Example: I'm currently listening to "blah blah blah"
Reply: Tune!

Basically the same as this definition:

1. a succession of musical sounds forming an air or melody, with or without the harmony accompanying it.

But people say "tune!" in order to show enthusiastic approval for some particular "succession of musical sounds."

It will be harder still for you to comprehend the meaning of "In tune with the tune"
