Sneaker Pimp [Toes in the Sand] Josel - Digiboy (w/ DJ Tarkan & V-Sag + Matthew Adams)

Hear audio samples from this release:
Josel - Digiboy

"Digiboy," from one-half of respected progressive duo Josel & Pedro, is perhaps Josel's most moving solo work to date. Plaintive synths meld with mesmerizing vocals to form a work overflowing with emotion rarely heard in dance music today. Ending the summer with fireworks, Toes in the Sand turned to four of the most talked-about progressive producers for remix duty, enlisting DJ Tarkan & V-Sag, Matthew Adams, and Jorge Dept for a stunning range of interpretations to spread Josel's blissful work to any dancefloor.

TRACK OF THE WEEK - ROTATIONZ RADIO

"Very good, will play." – Hernan Cattaneo

"I really like the deep and warm and strong atmosphere. I will support wherever I can." – Desyn Masiello

"Like it, good melodic vibe :-)" – Flash Brothers

"MATTHEW ADAMS REMIX. Great tune. In my bag defo." – Pole Folder

"Matthew Adams remix here for me all the way, expect this to get played on my Proton show in the next month or so." – Jay Epoch (Proton Radio)

"Beautiful swelling synths and pads, a simple but bouncey drum pattern that evokes a mid-90's classic prog era vibe. Very chill and warm, lovely vocal snippets. Love what Matthew did with the guitar bits, very pretty and, though electric, fit with the tune very well, mixing the contemporary rock flavor with a classic progressive sound. Wonderful drum programming involving some synths as well. Groovy enough for a dancefloor and comfortable enough to sing me to sleep." – Royal Sapien

"The remix from Matthew Adams is my favourite. Soft, smooth, and peaceful are the right words to qualify this work. Very good job!" – Guillaume Nyckees (Galaxie 95.3 FM France)

"Very cool track, I really dig the original the most!" – Nick Hogendoorn

"Wow! Original Mix: Nice Summer Vibe - Pure Toes Sound!! Love it! DJ Tarkan & V-Sag Mix: awesome groove and very deep atmosphere! Jorge Dept Mix: Nice and trippy melodic piece of music! Matthew Adams Mix: hard kicks and nice melodies form an awesome journey!" – Stefan (progressive-world.at)

"4 cool mixes, the best one for me is the Turkish/Greek interpretation produced by the No Smoking boys ;-) Taste tribal edge, chilly atmosphere & pure afterhour sounds! 9/10" – The Mystic Force (Rotationz Radio)

"Wow! Another amazing release! Right in time for the end of summer! I like the original version, really warm and sunny with a summer vocal! Tarkan & V-Sag remix is good too, I like the rhythm. And of course Matthew Adams is awesome as alway ! I love his guitar part!" – Python (Carica Records)

"Thanx for the great release (once again!) The standout mix for me is the Matthew Adams Remix (which I will definitely play on my show). But the other versions are ace, too (and I'm a bit picky normally...)" – Pieter De Wagter

"The four mixes are really good. The original from Josel is a peaceful and beautiful piece. Tarkan & V-Sag did another nice remix for the dance floor, and the Matthew Adams remix is a great work too! But, in my opinion, the first place is for Jorge Dept. 8.5/10" – Manu (trancespain.com)

"Super release, love the groove and vibe going on in the Tarkan & V-Sag mix. The Matthew Adams mix provides a whole different angle on the track, kind of rocky sound. Love em both!" – Storyteller

Agreed. I'm loving that remix. The original is also music to my ears.
