Just remembering I saw a post a long time back asking about trance songs that had other emotions besides just the typical happy up feeling stuff. So along those lines I suppose, I have noticed alot of electro stuff sneaking into gothic music and darker music as well. It seems trance is evolving a bit and I would love if anyone can steer me to some darker trance stuff out there. I would love to see trance evolve to be more musically broad and keep adding depth.
Help me explore the darker side of trance plz .

Check out Cyberntica's warpcore mixes for some good Darkpsy. That has lots of Euphoric/Scare the shit outta ya stuff. It's defenitly... differnt.
Not everything is dark trance, but it's EDM featuring dark elements.

I think that the whole essence of trance as an uplifting musical experience is just propaganda. Because, if you choose to look at it as anything that fits into a shared consensus than you're missing the concept of litening to music.
