so two years ago i was driving across country with 2 friends, we tried to make it out for Mad Halloween but were a day late, so the entire town was hung over, and we knew no one. we're driving around, and we see a movie being projected onto the side of a building. so we stop, and find a coffee shop projecting the original frankenstein onto their wall, giving away free candy and popcorn and shit.
so we stick around for the movie and after get to talkin with this really chill dude and his friend. turns out he's the owner. he told us he had to close up but he and his friend were stickin around after they closed to have some drinks, so we end up staying there for another like 4 hours drinking with the owner, his friend, and some cute barista. refused to take any money for the liquor we drank too, and he let us sleep there 
oh and they had like 5 comfy couches, reading lamps, an art gallery in the back, and random acoustic guitars and chess boards around for people to use
without a doubt the coolest coffee shop in the world
