Good Indian food is absolutely wicked.

I am a huge fan.

Chicken vindaloo (sp?), for the win.

Also, just about any dish with lamb.

And dhal. OMG.

Bah, fuck you guys, now I'm really hungry.

Dinner's not for an hour or so yet

I make and eat Indian food every day. It's not intense if you don't make it spicy.

You should try Indian sweets, if you find the food spicy. They are delicious.

Yes We do quite a bit. It just comes down to how much you really trust the recipes that you grab off the net. And, also, sometimes it's hard to find the proper ingredients here :/

For example, our vindaloo's never taste anywhere near as good as you can get at a restaurant, and even the dishes with less 'heat' are missing the equivalent of the Colonel's Secret Fucking Herbs and Spices.

We also make a lot of Thai-style food too. Asian food is pretty much the most awesome thing to dance on my taste-buds.

I can give you some simple indian recipes that I use to cook at home. No where as fancy as vindaloo. But you can make reasonably good veg/non vegetarian dishes if you have the right ingredients. The method of cooking is quite generic for many dishes. Once you know how to go about doing that, you can create endless variety by using different spices and other ingredients. You can also make different types of dals at home. It's very easy.
