A relentless self promoter and equally unrelenting in his support of all who share an unyielding passion for House music, Ricky Ryan has made it to where he is today completely on his own merit. He works as hard as any DJ / producer we’ve ever met and his intense dedication is displayed in the vast accomplishments Ricky’s achieved throughout his short career.
A resident at DJ Mag’s fifth ranked club in the world - Brazil’s Warung Beach Club - and a guest at some of the scene’s most recognized venues and festivals, including Pacha in Buenos Aires and the South American ‘Creamfields’.
As Can Costa, Ricky’s productions have the support of an eclectic group of the who’s who in dance music, such as Danny Tenaglia, James Zabiela, Adam Freeland and Luke Fair. He’s the founder of two successful digital labels Sick Watona and Avangardia and his Feeback Bookings agency boasts some of the most promising talents in House music today.
Ricky’s been recognized in DJ Mag’s Top 100 as a "DJ that will break through in 2006" by Danny Howells and Desyn Masiello and I guess it could be said that Ricky Ryan has become the poster boy for everything we stand for with bringthebeats.
This summer Ricky’s been touring the world in support of his Feedback 2 complication for Proton Radio; aptly named for the Feedback Radio show that he’s been maintaining on the station for over two years. He’s decided to wrap up the tour with us here in Toronto, at EXPOSED, to help celebrate bringthebeats’ anniversary.
