VMA07 Commercial

I got inspired by this piece and I want to try to get that 80's "ghost" pad down... but would anyone have an idea as to what kind of grain or sample this may be?

HAH Nothing to do with britney spears, nobody even know who the hell composed the commercial music... but it's hella cool

well The commercial is produced by some guy named Titeufffff...with some research it seems that the commercial is not an official one and might have been for some contest. Anyway the Guy is on the net and around some forums...just google his name. I dont think he made the music though.

All I know is that I suck..I dont think I could even come close to that clip. It sounds sweet.

Now that pad is most likely done on an Fm synth and maybe some string samples in there too.

I'd like to help you but I can't even work out the chord progression..so its not going to happen.

The song is Darren Hayes- Casey. Darren is from the group Savage Garden that was really popular back in the late 90s. The song is actually really hard to find and the album it's on has only been out since last month.

The build-up is really smooth and nice. Very trance-based even for a pop song, but I have to say his vocals fit well with it. I know that Rob Papen's Blue would work well emulating many of the synth sounds. The timing on the VSTi is a real pain to handle, but manageable.
