I've been talking to this girl, who is also from LA, for about 3 weeks now. I was introduced to her through a friend and we have been just talking to each over phone. We've exchanged pics over the internet, but haven't met in real life yet.

I really want to meet her. She's going to be at Nocturnal and my original plans were to go to Lovefest. I have been forcing her go to Lovefest, but all her friends are for Nocturnal. I really want to go to SF, I love the DJs that are going to be there. I love the whole dancing/drinking outdoors experience. But, I really want to see her as well, and she's not even 100% sure if she's going to be there or not. Also, I really want to meet her in a club or dance event type of place because we might not be feeling each other. If we went to grab coffee or a movie we would be obligated to spend more time with each other and I would hate for her to do that if she doesn't feel me.

I met my current gf of 7 years on the net.
We spoke on the phone for 3 months, exchanged pictures etc. I was a little nervous until I got to meet her face to face.

Why don't you just meet her for coffee at Starbucks or something. 10 minutes just to meet and see each other. Just let her know there's no obligation but you're just meeting to say hi. After the first 5 minutes you'll know if you guys click or not. If you don't click just part as friends. That way you can make that decision about the love fest.

Go with your original plans to go to SF or you'll severely regret it if you don't. Not only that, you're going to lower your values in her eyes if you change all your plans just to go meet someone. Not that you're desperate but it'll give off that vibe, you know what I mean?

Going to an event where all her friends will be will also take the focus off you... There will be plenty of other chances to meet her and I'll guarantee theres plenty of women in SF to meet as well.

You'll also have all these pictures and stories to share and talk about after your trip.

u never know what will happen in nocturnal... u dont know who her friends are... i think it's better just go to love fest now and ask her to meet up for the next event in LA.. it's easy, LA has events every weekend.. u'll meet her.. there's no rush...

u will never regret going to love fest, but u may see something that u may not want to see in nocturnal.. i dunno what they might be.. but girls are shady.. lol they dont know what they want

Talking on the phone is not the same as talking in person. Same thing goes for writing to each other.

I say stick to your original plans. Go to SF. She will still be here in LA when you get back and with so many things always going on in the EDM world, I'm sure you guys can hook up I mean set a date in which to meet some other time. Well that's if she's a 100% sure about meeting you in person.
