Question JP-8000 and Sonar.

Hi,

I've been struggling on with a problem over the last few months hoping i could figuire things out myself but it aint happening, so any advice would be great.

I'm running on Sonar 6 at the moment and eagerly bought a second hand JP-8000 several months ago. Unfortunately though, the bloody synth won't play in time with the project unless i record a live performance.Presently i just use it for pads as lag isn't that noticable but i'd love to use it for basses.

This may seem strange but the latency appears to fluctuate so i can't just bounce a track down and drag it over!.

I've installed the instrument definitions and upgraded my RAM as i thought that may be an issue but i'm still getting nowhere with this.

If anybody could give me advice on changing my JP8000's setting to prevent midi feedback also, i'd be very greatful.
